Beware, my friends, those fatal errors
and cauldron-stirring mother boards
For a software-toting virus bearer
is playing with your power cords.

Monitor all those on-screen ghosts
while gremlins skip your CD-ROM
The Count fears wooden newsgroup posts
Broom Hilda conjures letter bombs.

The server that you thought you killed
has risen from the web he's spun
corrupted by the data spilled
a surge to make his keyboard run

Full moon summons wolves of wares
and hackers with electric axes
tech-support zombie's empty stares
sending pointless poisoned faxes

A hard drive through a world of terror
impending millennial doom awaits;
next stop ahead, the software bearer—
the infamous world of Mr. Gates.
