Out of dusky gleam, on an orange Halloween,
when the fear-filled scream for a witch skinned green...
When the death hounds howl those that rise, in torn cowl
Blood clotted, and foul, to roam and to prowl.

Those cursed begotten, drowned, and sodden
bones jut from flesh rotten lost souls still downtrodden.
They rise from within tombs cursed with dark sin,
the dead set to begin a gravedigger's din.

They moan deep in chorus: 'The world will abhor us.'
'The living will join us.' 'The devils will claim us.'
And so they all march, moving shadows they march
from towers and turrets to gothic-fogged arch,

at dusk it begins;
